Fibroid uterus is the presence of noncancerous fibrous growth in the uterus. This growth can be as small as a seed or can be big enough to alter the size of the uterus. It results in symptoms like heavy menstrual bleeding, constipation, pelvic pain, backaches, and frequent urination.
