Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I was diagnosed with retroverted intramural fibroid, and I have attached a recent scan report. Prior to this, it was adenomyosis. I had taken homeopathy medicine for ten months. Is my condition deteriorating? Is there medicine for this in Ayurveda?
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern.
Your reports (attachments are hidden to protect the patient's identity) show a retroverted bulky uterus with intramural fibroid. A retroverted uterus means its tip is directed backward. Sometimes it is painful, and sometimes it does not cause pain. Due to inflammation, bleeding, or pelvic irritations, it becomes bulky. Intramural fibroid means single or multiple fibroid tumors growing in the internal wall of the uterus. And yes, it may deteriorate the uterus wall.
The exact causes of this condition are unknown. But it is thought to be genetic or due to hormonal changes. It can be managed naturally through ayurvedic medicines and yoga techniques if it is less complicated and the size is below 40 mm. Before oral medications, it needs purification of the whole body through panchakarma therapy. After panchakarma therapy, I suggest you take Nityanand Rasa, Rajeswara Parpati, Chandraprabha Vati, Kanchanara Guggulu, and Varunadi Kasayam, under the guidance of an Ayurveda physician.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
