This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor.

I am 45 years old and have been suffering from pain and adenomyosis for nine years. My sonography report details are the following.

1. The uterus is anteverted, bulky, and measures 4.1" x 3.1" x 2.9".

2. Uterine myometrium appears adenomyotic.

3. An ill-defined posterior wall adenomyoma measuring 1.4"x 0.7" is seen displacing the endometrium.

4. Multiple fibroids are noted in the uterus. The largest measures are 1.1" x 1" at the fundus.

5. Endometrial echo is in the midline and measures 10 mm.

I have taken multiple medications, and there has been no response. Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

Adenomyosis is a condition in which uterine tissues grow from a single or multiple benign tumors. It may be a fibroid and may cause heavy bleeding and pain. However, it is very rare in women under 20 years of age, and sometimes it disappears after menopause. There are several Ayurvedic medicines available for adenomyosis that can help to resolve your issue. Some commonly used Ayurvedic medications are Nityanand rasa, Kanchanar Guggulu, Pusyanuga churna, Lodhrasava, and Ashokarista. You can consult with your specialist doctor, discuss your problems, and take medications with their consent.

I hope this helps.

Please revert so I can assist you further.

Thank you.
