Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am getting tingling sensation in my head and my perception changes. Sometimes I feel fine but sometime depressed and anxious. This process goes on in a cycle and I feel very difficult to continue my life like this. I do not have any motivation and there is no sense of pleasure. I am always unsatisfied. Is it schizophrenia?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You need not worry by diagnosing yourself. Kindly answer the questions given below.

  1. What is your age and profession?
  2. How about your family? What is your hobby? Are you on any medication now?
  3. How is your sleep and day-to-day activities? Do you get any illusion?

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 24 years old and I am working in customer support. Earlier, I was in another company with a good salary but I could not continue that. My family is well supportive and caring and no issues with them. My sleep is not good. I do not use to have continuous sleep. I wake up groggy in between. I somehow manage to go to the office and come back. No zest, enthusiasm, or motivation to do anything. Even if I wish to do anything, I end up thinking about so many things and putting them for later. No auditory or visual illusion. But as I said before, frequently I have a tingling sensation in my head. I start perceiving things differently, that is the same thing would be different at different times. My hobby was playing football. As my leg is injured I cannot do it now. Right now, I am hanging with my friend in which I do not feel motivated.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Few things you should know regarding life. Nothing is permanent in the world either job or asset. Money is not everything and money cannot buy happiness. The only motivator for you is yourself. Each and every one in this world have problem. Few will exhibit and few will not. Every problem has a solution. As there is a saying, every lock is manufactured along with the key. You should feel lucky that you got a very supportive family. Other than your office work start doing something you like. If you do not like the job, change it. If you cannot play football change to another game. Try a new game and make new friends. Try to get enough sleep and maintain regular sleep timing for at least 7 to 8 hours a day. Avoid sleeping in the daytime. Avoid reading about different psychiatric diseases in the internet and self-diagnosing. If you want to know your problem visit a doctor and you can attend regular counseling which will definitely motivate you. Join yoga and meditation classes. You can undergo Shirodhara and Abhyanga in any Ayurveda center which will relieve your tingling sensation. I suggest doing regular head massages with Brahmi Taila (Brahmi, Amalaki, Tila taila) 15 minutes before washing your hair. You can use Manasamitra Vatakam (Bala, Nagbala, Bilwa) and capsule Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri) one each at bedtime with a small glass of milk for 15 days and revert back.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
