Hello doctor,

I have high cholesterol, as given below in detail in the laboratory report.

My symptoms include, during the day or night, feeling weakness or having a dull mood. While sitting, I feel my heartbeats and can hear them. Sometimes I have blood pressure issues with me, but my blood pressure is always normal when taken. The laboratory report states:

  3. LDL cholesterol- 149 mg/dL.
  4. Triglycerides- 251 mg/dL.
  5. Total cholesterol to HDL cholesterol ratio- 5.9.
  6. LDL to HDL cholesterol ratio- 4.1.
  7. VLDL cholesterol- 50.11 mg/dL.
  8. Non-HDL cholesterol- 191.37 mg/dL.

Please advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

In Ayurveda, this condition is considered excessive Kapha aggravation. As your cholesterol level is high, you are at risk of developing so many health conditions. But do not panic; it has a complete solution in Ayurveda. But please follow and co-operate with us. Do a regular follow-up. I have gone through all your reports. There is only the high cholesterol issue and a slight elevation in uric acid. The three measures you need to take right now are:

1. Ayurvedic fat-reducing medications.

2. Regular diet, exercise, physical activity, and pranayama.

3. Keep yourself away from stress.

In diet reduce white rice intake and take brown rice. Take whole wheat bread and chapattis. Fresh fruit salad in the morning. Sprouts, nuts, and dry fruits every day. A vegetable salad that contains carrots, beans, cabbage, broccoli, and spinach. Take finger millet and horse gram recipes regularly. Drink hot water after every meal. Take a spoonful of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water. Boil 4 to 6 garlic in a glass of milk and consume it before going to bed.

Do regular exercise and walk at least 2 miles a day. Do mild to moderate physical activities at the beginning. Pass motion regularly to flush out the toxins. Do steaming once a week. Sweat will reduce toxins from the body. Have a habit of practicing Nadi shudhi pranayama and normal deep breathing exercises. This will reduce your palpitations ( sudden heartbeat). Palpitation occurs due to excess fat in your body, especially in blood vessels and the heart. Please keep in mind that your body is your first preference. Reduce stress. I have mentioned a few ayurvedic medications that will help you with this condition. They have no side effects and can be taken regularly for three months. After three months, do a follow-up, and I will let you know the next batch of medications.

Thank you.
