Blocked Blood Vessel

Blocked blood vessels occur from the build-up of plaque (fatty deposits) on the blood vessels' inner hollow. Such blocked blood vessels increase the risk of heart attack, stroke, and death. Some factors that increase the risk of the blood vessels getting blocked are high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking, obesity, stress, and a sedentary lifestyle.
