Hello doctor,

I am a 30-year-old male. I would like to ask the following questions:

  1. What is the typical range of testosterone levels in adult males, and how do these levels change with age?

  2. What are the common symptoms and signs associated with both low and high testosterone levels?

  3. How can one recognize these symptoms in themselves or others?

  4. What are the potential health implications of having low or high testosterone levels? How can imbalances in testosterone affect physical, mental, and sexual health?

  5. If someone is diagnosed with imbalanced testosterone levels, what are the available treatment options and their associated risks and benefits? Kindly help.

Thank you.

Should I adjust my thyroid medication for elevated TSH levels?

Hello doctor,

I have been on thyroid medication for around 15 years. Since two months ago I have been taking 67.5 micrograms of Thyronorm. In a recent thyroid test, my TSH level registered at 13.2, while my T3 and T4 levels were within the normal range. In the previous test from October, my T3 and T4 were normal, but the TSH was 14.2. I haven't experienced any symptoms related to this TSH level. Should I consider increasing my medication dosage, or would it be advisable to retest the TSH? Kindly help.

Thank you.
