Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am a 20-year-old male. My weight is 110.23 Ibs my height is 5 feet and 8 inches. I am very slim. What should I do to put on weight?
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I just read your query.
Your ideal weight should be calculated according to your height. The normal BMI (body mass index) is between 19.5 to 24.9. According, to your height and weight your BMI is 18.58 which is below normal. You can take Nutrigain granules (Aswangandha, Amlaki, Vatada) with lukewarm milk or water twice a day. Take two teaspoons of these granules regularly for four weeks. Also, modify your diet. Take a proportional amount of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. Do muscle strengthening exercises, because they would also contribute to your weight. It is advisable to learn these from a professional trainer. Try all these regularly, and you will soon see positive results. Follow-up after a month.
I hope you are satisfied with my answer.
Thank you.
