Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have a deficiency of vitamin D3, obesity, and PCOS. Please suggest ayurvedic treatment to lose weight.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I just read your query. As you have mentioned obesity is there and you have to reduce your weight because obesity also affects the level of vitamin D. Obesity can be due to PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). Along with your other supplements start taking tablet Asthiposhak two tablets twice a day with water after food for four weeks. Expose yourself to the early morning sun rays as they help you naturally in making vitamin D in the body. Add foods that naturally help you in getting vitamin D such as cheese, egg yolk, fatty fish like salmon, and tuna, and foods fortified with vitamin D such as cereals, soy products, orange juice, etc. For pain management take Lakshadi oil and do gentle massage of your body regularly, then after 15 to 30 minutes take a bath with lukewarm water. This will help you a lot. For PCOS are you already taking any medicine?
Do consult me after four weeks regarding improvement in pain and for further management. If you want to consult a nearby ayurveda physician then you can do that too.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
