This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I had endometriosis four years ago. I got it removed, and then I got married. I have a child now. I am having pain in the left iliac fossa. It is diagnosed as a follicular cyst and PID. What can I do now?

Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have pain in the left iliac fossa, and it is diagnosed as PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) and follicular cyst. But several other issues can also cause this condition. It can be due to colitis or constipation. You should take your kind attention to this problem. You should take anti-inflammatory and anti-lipidemic treatment. Here are my suggestions:

  1. Take Hyponid charak (Yashad bhasma with purified asphaltum) two tablets twice a day with warm water after meals.
  2. Take Yogaraja Guggulu (Yavani with Jeeraka) two tablets twice a day with warm water after meals.
  3. Take Prawalpanchamrita (Moti, Shankh Bhasma, Prawal, Muktashukti bhasmaone) tablet twice a day with warm water after meals.
  4. Take Sarivadyasava one tablespoon (Sariva with Amla) twice a day with an equal amount of water after meals.
  5. Use Nirgundi oil (Tila Oil, Manjistha, Haldi, Nirgundi) for external applications only.

Have a check over your thyroid profile and go for USG (ultrasound) abdomen after following these medicines. You should avoid eating spicy foods and fried junk foods. Drink plenty of water and avoid taking cold drinks and ice creams. Do regular yoga and pranayama.

I hope you are satisfied with my answer. For further queries, you can consult me at icliniq.

Thank you.
