Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been diagnosed with intramural fibroids noted along both the walls of the uterus. The endometrial thickness measures 8.2 mm. The doctor has prescribed me to use Mirena, which is an IUD (intrauterine device). I do not want to use it. I also have hypothyroidism. Please suggest a good ayurvedic medicine for the fibroids along with lifestyle changes.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your first query consult is on us!

You did not share your reports nor mention your symptoms here. Intramural fibroids are the fibroids in the walls of the uterus. You can follow the following ayurvedic medical regimen and lifestyle changes.

1. Tab. Kanchnaar guggul (Indian myrrh) two tablets twice a day with water after food for four weeks. Do not swallow the tablet, chew it and then take it with lukewarm water. This is helpful for both conditions, fibroids and hypothyroidism. But that does not mean you can discontinue your thyroid medicine, you have to take that as well.

2. Pradrantak Churan (Symplocus racemosa, Saraca indica, Ficus glomerata, Terminalia arjuna) one teaspoon twice a day with lukewarm water after food for four weeks.

3. Aloe vera juice 15 ml twice a day with water after food for four weeks.

4. Syp. Evecare (Saraca Indica50 mg, Dashamoola- 33 mg, Racemosa- 33 mg, Tinospora ordifolia 33 mg, Solanum nigrum 33 mg, Boerhavia diffusa-32 mg, Asparagus racemosus 32 mg, Cocos nucifera 32 mg, Aloe vera 25 mg)10ml twice a day with water after food for four weeks.

5. Haridra khand (Haridra, Triphala, Trikatu, Nisoth, Nagar Motha, Ajowan, Kutki, Chitrak, Ela, Dalchini, Jirak, Dhania, Ajamoda) two teaspoons twice a day with milk for four weeks. Consult your doctor and take the medicines accordingly.

6. Exercise, walk, and do yoga daily because as your weight increases it will automatically increase your problem.

7. Take fresh fruits and vegetables, flaxseeds, whole grains, etc.

8. Avoid excessive use of tea, coffee, and other caffeinated drinks, spicy and junk food.

9. Sleep adequately at least for six to eight hours a day. Try to sleep before midnight.

I hope this information will help you. Please revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.
