Increased Bowel Movement

The quick movement of the fluids and food along the digestive tract results in less absorption of water, bile, and sugars, thereby resulting in yellow or green color, frequent and loose stools. Increased bowel movements in infants result in toddler's diarrhea and are generally not due to an infection or an underlying disease. It typically occurs in children between the age of six months and five years.
