Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Recently, my interest in a healthy life has grown, and I want to transform myself for well-being. I started doing meditation and yoga. Along with this, I am planning to take some Ayurvedic herbs for my health and energy. For this, I need your kind help and suggestions. I am 5 feet 10 inches tall, weigh 221 lbs, and do not have any previous medical history. But currently, I have been significantly losing hair after moving to a new country. The hair loss problem started when I was in my country for the past four years, but not that much. At that time, the doctor had advised me to use minoxidil for some time and stopped. Mental condition: Too much sluggishness. There is a lot of tension, overthinking, and procrastination. I cannot concentrate on work. I have no control over myself.
My confidence is low, and always confused and doubtful, and I have a high career-oriented dream. Feeling drained of vitality. There is a significant lack of motivation and willpower. I have quite a disciplined life, and for the time being, I am missing the motivation to push myself out of this sluggish and sleepy state. Here are my food habits. I am not a vegetarian. I mainly eat rice and meat (primarily chicken and beef). Cooking is difficult as I live alone. I also consume adequate veggies and seafood and occasionally eat other cuisines. I mostly eat homemade meals (I cook once a week). Trying to eat fruits and nuts daily. I am a non-alcoholic and have no habits of smoking or drugs. I masturbate once or twice every day.
Familial Health History: My father had a history of diabetes for almost 28 years, heart problems, and arthritis. My mother has high blood pressure and arthritis.
Herbs I researched and found for taking:
Ashwagandha, Shilajit, Brahmi, Gotu-Kola, Spirulina, Moringa, Rhodiola, Guduchi, Amla, Triphala, Manjistha, Jatamansi, Bhringaraj.
I just began taking lemon with kala jeera, also known as black cumin or nigella sativa, honey, turmeric, cinnamon, black pepper, and cumin combined in warm water in the morning after waking up daily. I also started taking Apple Cider Vinegar before bedtime daily, and I attempted stem cell and Biotin treatments for my hair.
Please suggest the herbs I am planning to take and if they are okay for me. Are those herbs necessary for daily use to get good health, and are they allowed dosages? Is it wise to use these as a regular supplement or food? Is my body going to depend on these for necessary energies in the future, and if it is, is it a bad idea? My main goal is to balance my health in harmony with energy and suggest some good things for hair and detoxification of the body.
Please help.
Thank you/
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
First and foremost, I feel your BMI (body mass index) is more than acceptable. It should be between 20 and 25. Obesity promotes sluggishness and fatigue. You will grow ill if you do not exercise and regulate your weight. Because you practice yoga and meditation, it is quite useful to you. You have also expressed an interest in Ayurvedic therapies. However, I feel that your body should be detoxified before taking any Ayurvedic medications for a health center. To cleanse your body, Panchakarma therapy is necessary. This therapy is capable of removing any contaminants from your body. Following that, you can take Ayurvedic drugs to improve your results.
I hope this helps.
Thank you and take care.
Regards.
