Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 27-year-old. I had a goiter surgery ten months back. Post-surgery I was having severe pain in my knee and wrist joints. It has been ten months I still have pain in my joints. The severity of the pain has reduced, but it has spread to my hand, leg, and backbone. I have done a few tests which showed RA factor is 19 IU/mL, ESR is 25 mm/hr, anti-CPP is 11 Units, Uric acid is 3.9 mg/dL, AMA is 28 Units, FT3 is 2.81 pg/mL, FT4 is 1.18 pg/mL, and TSH is 1.33 mIU/L. I am taking Yogaraj guggul and Calcium medicine. Along with this, I am having a digestion problem. Now I am advised to take Mahayograj instead of yograj. The doctor told me the pain would subside with time. I, too, know that the pain has reduced compared to 10 months back. But it is always there. Sometimes I get severe pain. Kindly let me know if it will go completely with Mahayograj and how long it takes to cure completely.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query. Yes, the pain will subside with the help of Mahayograj guggul (Zingiber officinale Rosc., Piper longum Linn., Piper rectrofractum Vahl.), but it may take around three to six months duration. Along with this, I suggest you take a capsule of Shallaki (sugars, essential oil, volatile oil, terpenoids, and pentacyclic triterpene acids) two capsules two times a day with water after food for one month in your regimen. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with them and take medications with their consent. Also, add ginger and turmeric to your daily diet regimen. All these things will help you in relieving pain. I hope this helps you.

Thank you
