Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 19 years old, and I want to buildup my body. Can you suggest to me any nutritious food that does not have any side effects?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I need to know your weight and height to know your nutritional status. There are many dietary supplements available in the market for weight gain. If I need to tell you a complete solution, I would like to know your data, such as weight, height, history of any illnesses, and family status. Here I can suggest you some nutritional supplements which may be helpful for weight gain.

1. Soy protein isolate and Whey protein - 10 to 20 grams per day (depending upon the weight, it may vary).

2. Taking vitamin B1, B2, B3, and B5 supplements with food and B complex vitamin one capsules three times a day would be helpful.

3. Add omega 3 fatty acid along with your diet - one capsule three times a day in the initial month, and you can reduce it to one capsule two times a day.

4. Add potatoes, bananas, oats, and egg white, daily to your diet.

5. Dates are beneficial to gain weight. You can have five to 10 dates daily.

6. Nuts like almonds, cashew nuts, and sprouted peanuts can be used daily.

7. Daily half an hour of exercise and drink energy drinks such as soya milk, Whey protein, peanut milk, and banana shake with fresh goat's milk.

8. Mutton soup daily before the meal is also good.

If you would like to get a specialized diet plan for your problem, I can send you, provided you need to send me your detailed history.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Kind regards.
