What are effective ways to manage erectile dysfunction?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 40 years old and married. I struggled with habitual masturbation earlier in life and was unable to break free from it until I got married a couple of years ago. Currently, I am experiencing weakness, low energy, lack of enthusiasm, difficulty concentrating, irritability, and forgetfulness. I am also unable to fully enjoy my sexual life with my wife. I appear dull, feel constantly tired, and the brightness of my face has diminished.

In light of these issues, I respectfully request your guidance in prescribing Ayurvedic medicines that can help me overcome these challenges and regain my lost vigor, vitality, strength, memory, and overall well-being.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Decreased or improper erection of the penis is known as erectile dysfunction. Stress, anxiety, smoking, alcohol consumption, medications such as antacids, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, and low testosterone can contribute to this condition. In many cases, it may have psychological roots, often linked to excessive masturbation. You can restore your health naturally through Ayurvedic medicines and yoga practices.

I suggest the following regimen:

  1. Mushli pak laghu (containing shatavari and ashwagandha) 0.11 ounces with warm milk after meals.
  2. Dhootapapeshwar makardhwaja gutika (with nutmeg, clove, black pepper, and swarna bhasma) one tablet twice a day with ghee.
  3. Ashwagandha avaleha (containing manjistha, haritaki, and haridra) 0.11 ounces twice a day before meals.

Additionally, avoid spicy and fried junk foods. Please follow up after one month.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.
