Enlarged Lymph Node

The lymph nodes can get enlarged or swollen as a result of infection, stress, immune disorder, or cancer. During infection, the lymph node gets enlarged due to immune cell activity in them. Any infection of an organ causes swelling of the nearby lymph nodes.
