Dry eye syndrome is otherwise known as keratoconjunctivitis sicca, is a condition of having dry eyes. It occurs due to aging, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogren's syndrome, and vitamin A deficiency. The symptoms are irritation, redness, blurred vision, and discharge from the eyes. Lubricating eye drops can help to reduce dry eyes.
