Hello doctor,

My baby has delayed milestones due to hydrotherapy. Please give any tips for his trunk control according to Ayurveda. Awaiting your response.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I just read your query and understand your concern.

Delayed milestones mean the gross motor development of your baby is slower than normal. The best thing to do is physical therapy. You can do massage at home and also go for physiotherapy sessions. Exercises have a major role to play in delayed milestones. In ayurvedic treatment, follow the medical regimen:

  1. Do gently massage your baby daily with Chandanbala Lakshadi tail (oil), and after 15 minutes of massage, give him a bath with lukewarm water.
  2. You did not mention the age of your child, so I can only prescribe you this medicine. Syrup Mentat (Ashwagandha, Brahmi, and Mandukaparni): If the baby is over two years old, give your baby four milliliters twice a day with water for four weeks. Consult your doctor and take medicines accordingly.
  3. Give your baby natural foods and try to keep him happy.
  4. If a panchakarma center is nearby, visit there because panchakarma will help you improve your child's health

I hope you find my answer helpful. For more queries, you can consult me at icliniq.com.

Regards.
