Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern. I would like to know whether you have completed the treatment for typhoid or not. Whether you are taking any allopathic medicine for PCOD or not? As you mentioned the kalarchikai powder (Caesalpinia bonducella powder or fever nut) should be taken for 90 days continuously but due to typhoid you had to stop it and your age is 39 years. To perform some hormonal tests and other lab investigations and go for an ultrasound. Some tests are performed during the menstrual cycle. For this, you have to take hormonal medication according to your gynecologist's advice. Visit a nearby gynecologist, so that she can do your local examination and prescribe you the hormonal tests and medicine for amenorrhea (no menses).

Also take your husband to the hospital along with you, because he also needs some lab tests to be performed. As far as ayurvedic medicine is concerned it has good results in PCOD and infertility, but as your age is already 39, the time is crucial, so you need to consult a gynecologist soon. You can take ayurvedic help and make some dietary changes along with allopathic medicine and with other treatments too. I am suggesting these because, after 40 years, it will be difficult for you to conceive, so seek help as soon as possible. At this point you and your husband need some tests and according to that your treatment will be decided.

In ultrasound, the current condition of your ovaries and uterus can be seen and if you want to conceive the doctor can also advise you on ovulation study. Do come back with all the reports and previous medical history if any (such as diabetes, thyroid, or any miscarriage) Your husband's test report is also important.

I hope you are satisfied with my answer.

Thank you.
