Brown Spots

Brown spots on the face and skin are most commonly due to sun exposure. Such spots are termed ephelis and lentigo and occur due to excessive melanin deposition. Sometimes brown spots can be the result of skin conditions, medications, etc. Wearing sunscreens with atleast an SPF of 50, anti-aging creams, creams containing kojic acid, niacinamide, vitamin E, retinoids, arbutin, etc., help reduce such brown spots.
