Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 55-year-old woman, and I had my left ovary removed at the age of 40. I am currently experiencing symptoms of low estrogens, such as brain fog, hair loss, pain, and weight loss. I have been taking vitamin supplements, but I would appreciate your guidance on the specific supplements I should take and the recommended dosage.

Kindly suggest.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understood your concern. In your age group, these symptoms are commonly experienced due to hormonal changes, specifically related to menopause. I suggest you take Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) and Shatavari powder (Asparagus racemosus) in a dosage of 0.11 oz each, as well as Prawal Bhasma (Pearl Bhasma, Conch shell Bhasma, Pearl oyster bhasma) at a dosage of 500 mg twice a day, along with warm milk after meals. Additionally, Ashwagandharishtam (Manjistha, Haritaki, Haridra) can be taken at a dosage of one tablespoon twice a day, mixed with an equal amount of water after meals. I suggest you consult a specialist, talk with them and take medications with their consent. Maintain regular usage of these medications for one month. I hope this has helped you. Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.

Thank you.

Treatment plan

I suggest you take Ashwagandha and Shatavari powder 0.11 oz each and Prawal Bhasma 500 mg twice a day with warm milk after meals. Also, take Ashwagandharistam one tablespoon twice a day with an equal amount of water after meals. Take these medicines regularly for one month.

Preventive measures

Avoid spicy and fried junk foods. Drink plenty of water. do regular kapalbhati and pranayama like anuloma vilom nadi sodhan and bhramari.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
