Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been experiencing upper abdominal bloating, food sensitivities, and anxiety. It started about three years ago, but I had a bad flair-up a few weeks ago. The upper abdominal gas was so bad that it put pressure on the heart and caused palpitations.
I wanted to know if Abhayarishtam would be good for me or if there is any other medicine that you would recommend. Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
You have the disease of Vata, the name in Ayurveda 'Aadhman' (flatulence), so I suggest you stop Abhayarishta. I suggest the following:
1. Take tablet Shankh Vati (Shankh Bhasma, Shuddha Gandhak, Hing) twice daily with warm water after meal.
2. Take tablet Kamdudha Vati (Mukta pisti, Pravala pisti, Mukta sukti pisti) twice daily with warm water before a meal.
3. Take syrup Dashmularishta (Bael, Aganimanth, Patla, Gambhari, Shayonak) with warm water after the meal. Consult your doctor and take the medicines accordingly.
4. Avoid spicy food.
5. Avoid sleep in the afternoon.
6. Drink warm water.
Also, I suggest you do a few investigations, like 2D ECHO (echocardiogram), USG (ultrasound) of the abdomen, and CBC (complete blood count).
I hope this has helped you.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for your reply.
I have a few questions.
Is there anything else I can take besides Shank vati and Kamdudha vati?
Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
The alternative for Shankh vati is tablet Gastrina, and you should take Baidyanath kamdudha ras with Moti yukta.
I hope this has helped you.
Thank you.
