Hi doctor,

Both my legs are swollen, and my knees are paining. I have full-body weakness, and my vitamin D is less than 3 ng/mL. I feel that my entire body is swollen, and I have pain in my limbs. Please help me.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I just read your query and saw all your reports (attachment removed to protect patient identity). I suggest following the below mentioned ayurvedic medicines for your problem regularly, and you will soon see positive results.

  1. Dashamoola Haritaki (Pathya, Guda, Tvak) take 0.36 oz of this jam kind of formulation with water twice a day after food for two weeks. It will help reduce your swelling.
  2. Rasnasaptaka Kwatha (Rasna, Amrita, Argavadha) one tablespoon twice a day with water after food for two weeks. It is helpful in both conditions, swelling as well as in pain.
  3. Gokshuradi Guggulu (Gokshura, Shuddha Guggulu, Pippali) one tablet twice a day with water after food for two weeks. Do not swallow this tablet, first chew it and then take it with water.
  4. Asthiposhak tablet (Kukkutandatvak bhasma, Asthisamhruta, Arjuna), take two tablets twice a day with water after food for four weeks. It will improve your vitamin D level.
  5. Capsule Haridra (Turmeric and Curcuma Longa), two capsules twice a day with water after food for four weeks.
  6. Add ginger and garlic in your diet, as they will help you in relieving pain.
  7. Prefer homemade food and take a healthy diet. Consume everything proportionally.
  8. Avoid excessive salty and spicy food, curd, tea, coffee, and caffeinated drinks.
  9. Expose yourself to sunlight every day in the morning for 10 to 15 minutes. Do not go out during peak hours. Try to go at 7:00 AM or earlier if possible. Sunlight is very important for vitamin D synthesis.

Try taking the medicines mentioned above regularly after consulting your doctor, and your swelling will start decreasing within 5 to 7 days, and slowly your pain will also reduce. Consult me after two weeks for further treatment, or you can consult a nearby ayurveda physician.

I hope you are satisfied with my answer. Thank you.
