Is it safe to feed solid food to a 10-month-old premature baby?

My baby is 10 months old, and he is two months premature. If I feed him with solid food, he vomits. Is it not safe for him to be fed with solid food?

I just read your query. I advise you to try giving some soft and semi-solid foods to your baby right now. Once he starts digesting these then move on slowly towards other food items.
