Q. What homeopathic medicine can be used for frequent throat and viral infection?

I have 5 years 5-month-old son who weighs 46.30 Ibs. He has frequent bouts of throat and viral infection accompanied by a runny nose. I give him two to three tablets of Bakson's flu aid and sometimes 10 to 15 drops of R6 of homeopathic medicine. Is it the right dose of treatment? What is the most appropriate manner to deal with this?

Normal weight at 5 years and 5 months should be 33.07 Ibs, but your baby has more than normal weight. You are using some combinations of medicines, which are not a true homeopathic treatment. Whether your baby is sensitive to colds? Sweating is normal or not? Which part of the body is having more sweating? Anyhow, you give this homeopathic medicine to your baby: Calcaria carbonica 200 once in three days 10 pills, and give him Hepar sulph 30 daily 10 pills for 10 days. We will have a review after 10 days.
