Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Every time I urinate, a small amount of urine gets stuck in my penis, and it feels like it is ready to come out. However, it does not come out, and even shaking the penis does not help. Occasionally, when I sit on a chair, one or two drops might come out, but this happens very rarely after urination.
I had an ultrasound a few months ago, which showed that my prostate is normal but indicated signs of mild cystitis and a bladder infection. I also took medication, but there has been no improvement. Could urine be flowing back into my testicles? I do not experience a burning sensation or pain, but I do have mild testicular pain and itching. Could you suggest a possible treatment for this?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
First, you should get a urine culture examination to determine if there is an infection. If an infection is present, you will need medication accordingly. Sometimes, an infection can also cause cystitis. An ultrasound is not necessary at this moment. Wait for another month, and if your condition worsens, then consider getting an ultrasound.
Regarding the issue of urine being stuck in your penis, it does not travel back to your testicles, so there is no need to worry. Avoid scratching your testicles, as it will not help alleviate the problem. To address your issue, consider the following measures:
Following these recommendations should help improve your condition. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult with a healthcare professional for further evaluation and treatment.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
