Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have a 9 to 10 mm stone in my left ureter. What could be done about this?

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

A stone of 9 to 10 mm is compatibly bigger in size and can not be cured with the help of medicine alone. It would require surgery. But if you still want to give it a try with medicine, you can give it a try. But it is not guaranteed that medicine will remove the stone, and this might be painful. I suggest you drink plenty of liquids every day. Avoid excessive use of tomato, soy products, brinjals, etc. I suggest you take the following medicines:

1. Syrup. Neeri (Purified asphaltum 200 mg, Raphanus sativus ash 150 mg, Piper cubeba 100 mg, Rock salt 50 mg, Boerhaavia diffusa 500 mg, Sugarcane extract 500 mg, Parmelia perlata 450 mg, Tribulus terrestris 450 mg, Crataeva nurvala 400 mg, Dolichos biflorus 400 mg, Mimosa pudica 100 mg, Solanum nigrum 100 mg, Cucumis sativus extract 100 mg, Berberis aristata 50 mg, Butea monosperma 100 mg/10 mL.) 15 ml with water for four weeks.

2. Tablet. Cystone (Didymocarpus pedicellata -130 mg, Saxifraga ligulata Syn. Bergenia ligulata - 98 mg, Rubia cordifolia -32 mg, Cyperus scariosus - 32 mg, Achyranthes aspera -32 mg, Onosma bracteatum -32 mg, Vernonia cinerea -32 mg, Hajrul yahood bhasma -32 mg, Shilajeet -26 mg) two tablets twice a day with water for four weeks.

3. In case of pain you can take a pain-killer. Consult your doctor and take the medicines accordingly. In case of emergency, you can consult a nearby urologist.

I hope this information will help you. Please revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.
