Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have a thyroid nodule, and my TSH values are low. I noticed a painful swelling in the throat region one week ago. Kindly suggest a suitable treatment.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have gone through your reports (attachments removed to protect the patient’s identity).
You have hyperthyroidism (elevated thyroid levels). I suggest you test your thyroid profile, CBC (complete blood count), and HbA1C (glycated hemoglobin). If you do not have a history of diabetes (high blood sugar), hypertension (increased blood pressure), and increased appetite, then follow the medications and instructions mentioned below for 15 days.
1) Dhootapapeshwar gandamala kandan ras (Shodhit Parad, Shodhit Gandhak, Tamra Bhasma) two tablets thrice after meals with normal water.
2) Kanchnar guggulu (Kachnar, Triphala, Trikatu) two tablets thrice daily after meals.
3) Arogyavardhini vati (Tripala, guggulu, amala, neem) two tablet thrice daily after meals. Consult your doctor and take the medicines accordingly.
Avoid spicy and fried junk foods. Kindly do Bhramari pranayama (Humming Bee Breath) and Ujjayi (the ocean breath) regularly.
I hope that you get your answer.
Please let me know if you need any help.
Thank you.

Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
How long will it take to reduce the symptoms and nodules with these ayurvedic medicines? Can I take allopathic medicines with ayurvedic medication? Does gluten and dairy affect this disease?
Thanks.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
I have suggested medicines for 15 days. You will get positive result within 15 days. Kindly maintain patience and start medications under regular follow up. Yes, you can take Allopathic or Homeopathic medicines along with Ayurvedic medicines if your doctor allows. You should have one hour of gap between two medicines.
I hope that you get your answer.
Please let me know if you need any help.
Thank you.
