Does taking two drops of Sulfur 1000 every morning on an empty stomach cause side effects?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been taking Sulfur 1000 for two months, two drops in the morning on an empty stomach. I wanted to know if there are any harmful effects to the body by taking this. If yes, please let me know the treatment.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I would not advise taking such frequent doses of such high potency. Usually, frequent repetition of doses might lead to proving of a drug (similar to a side effect). In drug proving, your body shows new symptoms that you have never suffered, or sometimes your current symptoms worsen. I suggest you stop taking more doses of Sulfur unless you feel that this remedy has helped you drastically and has helped to reduce the symptoms significantly. I suggest you consult your specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take the medicines with their consent.
