Sperm motility is known as the movement of the sperm towards the egg in the female reproductive organ. Healthy sperm motility is necessary for conception. Poor sperm motility is a condition where the sperm is unable to swim or move, and it is known as asthenospermia. Men having a total of 19 million motile sperm are considered normal, and those with less than 6 million are known to have poor sperm motility.
