Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am taking medicines for PTSD, including Olanzapine and Aripiprazole, and I frequently have too much thirst and urination.

If you have a cure for this in Ayurveda, kindly help me with my problem. I am sure there will be a cure to this in Ayurveda.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

All psychiatric disorder, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), has a wonderful cure in Ayurveda. In Ayurveda, we aim to treat the mind before treating the underlying disease. I recommend you follow meditation daily as it calms the body and mind. Please avoid junk food and preserved food. Follow a healthy diet and lifestyle.

If you could reach any ayurvedic hospitals, you can ask them for Shirodhara and Abhayangam, which are very effective therapies for psychiatric disorders. And also, follow the medications I have mentioned below.

(consult your specialist doctor, discuss with them and take medicines with their consent).

1. Brahmi Ghrita, 10 ml twice daily before food morning and evening.

2. Stresscom capsule (Ashwagandha), two tablets twice daily after food morning amd evening.

3. Chandraprabha Vati twice daily after food morning and evening.

4. Chandanasava 10 ml with 20 ml water after food twice daily.

You can gradually stop using Olanzapine and Aripiprazole once you feel like your condition is improving. But now, you can take these ayurvedic medications and the drugs mentioned above with a gap of 10 minutes. All other issues, like excessive thirst and frequent urination, maybe the side effects of your current medications.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
