Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

PMS or pre-menstrual syndrome occurs basically due to hormonal changes in the menstrual cycle. Around 70 to 80 percent of girls suffer from this problem. Doctors usually prescribe supplements like vitamins and calcium supplements etc. for this problem. However, you can try lifestyle changes because they will help you a lot in getting rid of the problem.

  1. Restrict salt intake, and caffeinated drinks like tea, coffee, and cold drinks 7 to 10 days before the menstrual cycle.
  2. Do exercise daily. If you cannot spare time for exercise then walk daily at least for 30 to 60 minutes a day.
  3. Do meditation to get relief from the uneasiness you face.
  4. Add nuts, green vegetables, and fresh fruits to your diet.
  5. For backache and headache, you can do massage with Brahmi oil. It will help you a lot.
  6. Take Shatavari which is a herb and very good for female problems take 500 mg of it every day for one month.

Try all these things regularly and you will soon feel positive results. After one month consult me or a nearby Ayurveda physician if you want to go for further management.

I hope you find my answer helpful.

Thank you.
