Hello,

Welcome toicliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

PCOD (polycystic ovarian disease) has certain symptoms like irregular periods, weight gain, acne, insulin resistance, etc. The treatment depends accordingly. As you have been suffering from PCOD for the last year, you need to perform blood investigations other than thyroid. You did not share your thyroid report. Also, perform tests like LH (luteinizing hormone), FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone), testosterone, prolactin, hemoglobin, and ultrasound too. Once you perform these hormonal tests, get treatment accordingly, whether allopathic or ayurvedic. So, I advise you to perform these tests and either come back to me or consult a nearby physician. Till then, follow these instructions:

  1. Drink aloe vera juice one tablespoon twice a day with water after food for four weeks. Stop taking it during the menstrual cycle.
  2. Take Varunadi Kwath one tablespoon twice a day with water after food for four weeks. Stop taking it during the menstrual cycle.
  3. Do exercise and yoga daily as excessive weight also affects the normal menstrual cycle.
  4. Take more fresh fruits and vegetables.
  5. Avoid excessive tea, coffee, and caffeinated drinks.
  6. Sleep adequately for at least six to eight hours a day.

I hope you find my answer helpful. For complete treatment, come back with complete investigations and medical history, or you can go to a nearby gynecologist if you want to.

I hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank you.
