Can morning sickness with nausea and vomiting be cured during pregnancy with homeopathic medicines?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My daughter-in-law has been pregnant for the last three months. This is her second pregnancy. The first child is three years old and it was a normal delivery. But after delivery, she developed piles and was operated. At present, due to pregnancy, she feels nausea in the morning. For that, she is seeking your advice so that she does not feel a vomiting sensation, especially in the morning.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

For morning sickness, I would suggest she try Symphoricarpus Racemosus (homeopathic medicine) five drops thrice a day for one week, and if she still does not feel better, you can contact for a follow-up. She should avoid eating fatty foods for dinner. Adequate amounts of water and small nutrient-rich meals at regular intervals should help.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thanks for your reply.

My daughter-in-law is pregnant by 23 weeks. A few days back, she has a cold and cough. After that due to an allergy, she started getting the asthmatic-type feeling. At present, she is taking an anti-allergic medicine. Please suggest a protocol for her considering her pregnant condition.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I suggest she take Belladonna (anticholinergic) in half a cup of water four times daily for one week for cold and cough. I also suggest Bacillinum 200 (homeopathic medicine) one dose tomorrow night and a second dose after one week. These are safe medications during pregnancy.

Kindly consult a specialist doctor, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.

I hope this helps.

Thanks and regards.
