Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Is there an ayurvedic, siddha or natural cure for childhood myopia? The left eye of a child has had a myopic condition for the last 12 months. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Yes, we have treatment in Ayurveda, but along with the medications, the treatments like eye massage, tarpanam, and natyam should be done. Consult your doctor, discuss with them, and take the treatments if you can find any Ayurveda health centers. These treatments can improve visual acuity and stop the progression of a number of degenerative changes. In most cases, nearsightedness is simply a minor inconvenience and poses little or no risk to the health of the eye. Do not give a mobile phone which will cause visual pressure. Yoga and meditation can help improve the condition. Regular sleep is also a prerequisite for curing myopia. Give a lot of green leafy vegetables like broccoli, spinach, and vegetables like carrots, beans, and cabbage. I suggest using eye drops for about three months. Consult your doctor, discuss with them, and then take the medications.

Thank you and take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
