Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My wife is having 12 mm, 10 mm stones in both left and right kidneys. Currently, she is using Cystone forte, Neeri tablet, and Smashit. So, how many days it will take to dissolve these stones?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I just read your query. See first of all let me tell you one thing that the size of the stones is large. Kidney stone having size around 4 to 5 mm get dissolved with the help of medicine easily as compared to large-sized stones. Another thing is the composition of stone means from which thing the stone has been formed, that also matter.

Some stones are unable to dissolve with the help of medicine. But we cannot know without examination from which thing the stone has been made. So continue your treatment. In case you face any trouble you may require consultation from a urologist. If stones will be dissolved with the help of medicine then fine otherwise she might require surgical management.

The Probable causes

Genetic cause or poor eating habits or some underlying disease.

Investigations to be done

USG (ultrasound) abdomen.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
