Hi,

Thank you for stopping by!

I am here to provide expert opinions on your medical issues.

I read your query. You did not mention if he has undergone any laboratory tests before and if he is taking any medications. Does he have any other disease and taking medication for that too? Because all these things will matter a lot in prescribing medicine. Pain and swelling in all joints may be due to various reasons like osteoarthritis, gout, or rheumatoid arthritis as he is an aged person. The treatment for every disease is different.

I advise you to come back with the laboratory investigation and previous medical history. Because once the proper cause is known it would be easier for you to take treatment rather than taking generalized treatment for joint pains. If you keep on taking general treatment for joint pains then it will only give him temporary relief but his problem will not be solved. If you want to consult a doctor, then go to an orthopedic physician, he will help you.

I hope this has helped you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
