Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have a hormonal imbalance. My LH hormone remains high. How to reduce it?
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
LH (luteinizing hormone) is a hormone that is released by the pituitary gland. Normally, their level remains low before ovulation and they get raised suddenly, causing ovulation. It also helps in releasing testosterone. It results in causing acne, facial hair, and an imbalance of FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) leading to irregular menstruation. This imbalance of hormones is commonly seen in PCOD (polycystic ovarian disease). It can be managed naturally through ayurvedic medicines and yoga.
