Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have an imbalance in my body. When I was 7 years old my doctor gave me antibiotics with a higher dosage. Since then, my body is facing imbalances. The first issue I noticed was when I was 8 years old. I started to get furuncles. It was usually after the winter when springtime comes. The furuncle was always placed in my nose near the upper right side of my lip. I got furuncle twice on my armpit. The doctors told me to stop eating sugar as my sugar levels were on the higher side, but no diabetes. Yearly, the furuncle started to become more frequent and started occurring every three months. I went to the hospital three times and they gave me antibiotics, which healed my furuncles. When I was 14 years old, I started to get teenage acne. It was mild and fine, but after one year my forehead started swelling. I saw the dermatology expert, she gave me antibiotics. They were topical antibiotics. After each month she would change the antibiotics brand. My skin got better. She went on with antibiotics, but when I was 16.5 years old I refused to apply antibiotics because my hair started to fall out. I always had strong, long, shiny, silk-like hair, now they are thin and puffy. I am now 20 years old and I started to feel that maybe it is not acne, I feel that it is more an imbalance in my body, fungus, or something else. I eat healthy, very little processed foods, and sugar, but I eat a lot in one sitting, I just do not feel full. I tried detox and probiotics, but it just makes things worse. It is as though if I eat more unhealthy, the inflammation gets better, it is frustrating.
