Which Ayurvedic oil can be used to restore hearing loss?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

More than eight years ago, I underwent a treatment with Ayurvedic oil drops in my right ear to help restore my hearing loss. Can you advise on which oil I can use now for the same purpose? I would like to begin using the appropriate oil for my ear again.

Please advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Take about one tablespoon of sesame oil and chop one clove of garlic. Pour the oil into a pan and heat it, then add the chopped garlic. Cook the garlic on medium heat until it turns brown, pressing the garlic while frying. This will result in the formation of garlic oil. When the oil cools down, put five drops of it into each ear. Use this twice a day to help improve hearing loss. Only use the oil when there is no infection in the ear. Do not use it if there is an infection, pus discharge, injury, or similar issues. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her, and take the medicines with take the medicines with their consent.

Consult me after two weeks regarding your improvement and for further management, or you can consult a reputable Ayurveda physician nearby.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.
