Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have a three-month-old baby and am breastfeeding him. For the past month, I have been experiencing a cold and a persistent cough. Since yesterday, I have been using Pankaja kasthuri. Today, my stools are green, and I am experiencing lower abdominal pain. What could be the cause, and how can I manage it?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Pankaja Kasthuri is a herbal product and does not contain any ingredients that would cause green stools. It is safe to continue using it if you are experiencing breathing difficulties, asthma, respiratory infections, or a cold and cough. Green stools can have several causes, including your food intake from the previous day, undigested bile pigments, food coloring agents, and some bacterial infections. Monitor your condition over the next few days. If the green stools persist after two days, you should consult your doctor in person.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
