It is given to people who lack coordination of muscles around the chest, throat, and eyes. Gelsemium acts directly on the nervous system. It contains lactose, sucrose, and natural minerals. It reduces high blood pressure effects caused due to anxiety and also helps in the treatment of a cold. Two to three drops are given daily with or without water as prescribed by the doctor.
