Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am an 18-year-old female. When I was five years old, my lips became swollen and it became really difficult for me to open my mouth. From then till now, I have faced the same problem very frequently. I went to many doctors who considered it angular cheilitis all these years. But of no use. All my reports come normal except for an increase in WBC count. I do not have thyroid, diabetes, or asthma. I was advised to cut down on a few food items responsible for my allergy. I got an allergy test done recently. According to the report, I am allergic to foods like potatoes, cheese, paneer, spices, cinnamon, sesame, beans, and red lentils. Environmental factors, mosquitoes, fungal elements, and pollens.

The doctor suggested avoiding all the food items I was allergic to and gave me medicine. I want a treatment b which my food allergy can get cured entirely so that I can eat all the food items.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I think you may have food allergies, including chelitis, this chelitis also due to food allergy. Symptoms of food allergy will show within a few minutes after taking food. It is called food intolerance. There are some risk factors, like family history and past food allergies. I suggest you to take Pulsatilla 200 mg (Extracts of European wind flowering plant) once for three days.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
