Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am suffering from a chronic fear of aging, the fear of the immortal world, the fear of heart and mental diseases, and being unable to take responsibility. I am always anxious about my health as I read too much about medicine on the internet. The fear of what is life after death, and the fear of the death of a loved one. I am taking Ayurvedic treatment Manasamitra vati, SB capsule, Brano care syrup, Kushmanda Rasayana along with Mirtazapine, Clonazepam, Escitalopram, and Haloperidol. But I could not stop allopathy. I am unable to continue on only Ayurveda. Please guide me as I am unable to control my mind.

Thank you.

Hello,

I appreciate you signing up on icliniq.

You now have exclusive access to expert medical opinion.

I just read your query. I can understand your concern about everything and all the related fear. See everybody has these kinds of fears, however, they may vary in extent from person to person as everyone has their mental stamina. As far as your problem is concerned, the medicine you are taking is all good but you can shift completely to ayurvedic medicine only after making yourself a bit stronger. I will prescribe you some lifestyle changes which will help you:

  1. First of all start doing yoga, exercise, and meditation daily. Initially, you will find no change in yourself but with regular practice, you will start feeling happier, stronger, and calmer. You can take the help of a professional trainer to learn exercise and yoga.
  2. You can also go for dance classes as they also help you.
  3. All these activities will lead to positive changes in your body which will make you happier and you will feel stronger, as a result, you will slowly get rid of your fear.
  4. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables (green leafy vegetables, seasonal vegetables, etc.).
  5. Add different berries to your daily routine like blueberry, strawberry, blackberry, raspberry, etc. whichever is available nearby you and according to season.
  6. Add different nuts like walnuts, almonds, peanuts, etc. to your daily routine. But do not take too much of them.
  7. Avoid excessive tea, coffee, or cold drinks. However, if you are used to taking tea you can take one or two cups of green tea.
  8. Drink one glass of lukewarm milk before sleeping and add cardamom powder to it.
  9. Try to sleep up to 10 p.m and get up early in the morning as this will maintain your body's biological clock and make you feel better.
  10. Avoid mobile, laptop, and television one hour before sleep because the blue light of all these hinders normal sleep patterns.
  11. Keep on motivating yourself. Read positive literature. Try to smile all the time as this habit sends positive signals to your mind and will help you in the prevention of fear. Keep yourself busy with constructive work and spend quality time with family and friends. Share your problems with others.

Adopt all these things in your lifestyle with a positive attitude and soon you will feel positivity in life. As a result, your doctor will start tapering off your medicine and you will get rid of your excessive medicines.

I hope you are satisfied with my answer. For more queries, you can consult me at icliniq.

Thank you.
