Hello doctor,

I have been struggling with bad symptoms of over-masturbation for the last nine months since I stopped doing it. These include eye floaters, twitching nerves all over the body, indigestion and gastric problems, pain at the tailbone, low energy, anxiety, depression, and much more. My main problems are my eye floaters, nerve twitching, and weakness. I have been completely clean from this masturbation addiction for nine months, but I still struggle with these symptoms. I have encountered some ayurvedic medicines like Shilajit and Ashwagandha. Can I get some advice on what and how much I should take?

Over-masturbation may lead to these symptoms. You should quit masturbating as soon as possible. You can take all those medicines that you have mentioned above. You can take them in the next dose.

1. Ashwagandha powder (Withania somnifera) three grams twice a day with warm milk after meals.

2. Shilajeet Rasayan Vati (Ashwagandha, Bhoomi Amla, Harad, Baheda) one tablet daily with warm milk after meals.

3. Brahmi Vati (Brahmi (Bacopa Monnieri), Shankhapushpi (Convolvulus pluricaulis), Vacha (Acorus calamus)) one tablet twice daily with warm milk after meals.

4. Drakshasava (Draksha, Twak, Ela, Patra) 0ne tablespoon twice daily with an equal amount of water for half an hour after meals.

You should also follow some precautions, like avoiding spicy and fried junk foods, cold drinks, and ice cream, and smoking and drinking if you have these habits. Drink plenty of water. Eat fibrous foods and fruit as well as green leafy vegetables. Do regular yoga kapalbhati and mandukasana as well as pranayana like anuloma vilom, nadi sodhan and bhramari.
