Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 28 years old. I masturbated excessively when I was young. Due to this, I have prominent veins on my penis, both in a flaccid and erect position. They are not painful, but I have weakness in that area. Kindly guide me on how the problem can be cured.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I have seen the pictures that you have attached (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity). These prominent veins are normal, and it has nothing to do with your excessive childhood masturbation. They are as normal as those veins on the back of our hand or any other body part. Veins are present underneath the skin, which is why they are visible. However, they are more visible in some people and comparatively less in others; it simply depends on the thickness of the skin, which varies from person to person. It will not affect your sexual life and will not lead to any other problems in the future.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
