How to improve libido and erection issues in a 37-year-old male?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a married 37-year-old man who has a bad habit of masturbation. My sexual drive has decreased over time, and I also have a lack of libido. I have difficulty most of the time getting a hard penis, and it got erect but not fully hard. I tried Sildenafil in the past, but I heard many things about it that it is not a safer way. By that time, it damages vital organs like the kidney and liver. What is the best way to get a full erection, stay longer, and also increase my libido?

Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your case details and got your issues.

Loss of libido, premature ejaculation, and erectile dysfunction are the major complaints in those people who have masturbated too much earlier. Mostly, all these issues are often caused by anxiety, overstimulation, guilt, and some other psychological factors. The condition usually improves without medications. Probable causes are stress and anxiety, over-excitation and watching erotic videos, guilt by adolescent mistakes, and psychological factors. Suggested investigations are testosterone level, CBC (complete blood count), and LFT (liver function test) semen analysis. Differential diagnoses include premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, and loss of libido. The probable diagnosis is premature ejaculation. The suggested treatment plan includes Shukra Stambhak, Vatahara, Medhya Rasayana, Vatanuloman chikitsa, counseling, and Kegel exercises.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.
