Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I had an allopathic antidepressant for the past two years. Now, I replaced that with Ayurveda treatment, but I am feeling very fatigue, tired, lazy, and dizzy. What is the reason? Currently, I am having Manasamitra Vatakam medicine.
Kindly suggest.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
You developed these symptoms for two reasons. The first may be due to the antidepressant medicine that you had being ineffective and so the disease again started. Secondly, it could be due to the side effects of the Ayurveda drugs.
If you mention the allopathy and Ayurveda drugs you used or using, then it is easy for me to tell about it.
Looking forward to your response in order to help you.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
Ayurveda medicine which I am currently taking is Manasamitra vatakam and Gutika. Allopathy medicine that I had earlier was Recita 20 and Prodep 10. Please guide.
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Manasamithra vatakam is a good ayurveda drug. Usually, two tablets can be taken per time. Maximum two tablets in the morning and two at night can be the dose. So, you can increase the tablet from one tablet to two tablet twice daily for better result.
The symptoms fatigue, tired, laziness and dizziness are due to depression. It means the dose of Manasamitra vatakam is not adequate. If there is no improvement even after increasing the dose to four tablets a day, then better take allopathy drug also together.
You can always come back and reach me at icliniq.com.
Thank you for consulting me.
