Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 70 years old and diabetic. The doctor advised me to take Gorochanadi Gulika one tablet each in the morning and evening. I started taking the same. In between for one and a half months I stopped taking it. Now I want to start taking it. Before that, I wish to have your advice. I take insulin and other tablets as prescribed by my allopathic doctor.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. You can continue Gorochanadi Gutika (Gorochanam, Mrugasringa, Rudraksha) as they advised. You can also take some home remedies along with your previous medications. Take five Bilva leave and five Hibiscus flowers, five Tulasi leaves and make its juice and drink empty stomach morning and evening half an hour before food. After 4 to 5 days, monitor your blood sugar levels. It will be in the normal range. Do these things and provide your valuable feedback.

Preventive measures

1.Avoid spicy and fried junk foods. 2.Avoid smoking and drinking if you have these habits. 3.Avoid cold drinks, soft drinks, ice-cream, etc. 4.Do regular kapalbhati mandukasana and ardhamatsyendrasana and pranayama like anuloma vilom nadi sodhan, and bhramari.
